Frostwork Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

Frostwork is made by Leon Palm. Questions or requests:

What we collect

Only the problem reports you choose to send. Frostwork has no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. Besides the App Store's own checks of the Full version and iCloud sharing of saved places, it connects to the network only to send a report.

A report (Help › Report a Problem… on the Mac, or Help & feedback › Report a problem in the iPhone app's menu) carries what you write, the email address you give for a reply, a link that reopens the view, and technical details about your device and the app. If you capture a picture, it and your marks are included. Nothing is sent until you press Send.

Reports are stored privately in Google Cloud, read only to answer and fix what they describe, and deleted after 365 days, or sooner if you ask. Each report is also emailed to Frostwork's maker, and if you ask, that copy is deleted too. Google Cloud's request logs keep the IP address a report came from for 30 days; Frostwork uses it only briefly, to limit how many reports one network can send.

What stays on your device

Your settings, saved places, and the images and videos you export stay on your device. Frostwork's maker never receives them. If iCloud is on for Frostwork, your saved places are also kept in your iCloud account so your iPhone and Mac share them; Apple stores them under your Apple Account and Frostwork's maker never receives them.

Purchases

Apple sells the Full version through the App Store, under Apple's privacy policy. Frostwork only learns from Apple whether your Apple Account owns the Full version, never your payment details.
